Fees & Rebates

Monica is accredited to provide services under WorkCover, DVA and Medicare. Session fees are $290/hr in line with the Australian Psychological Society’s recommended rate for psychological services. Clients accessing services under WorkCover or DVA do not pay any out of pocket fees. Sessions under Medicare will attract a rebate of $137.05 and clients are currently eligible for up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year with a valid referral from their GP. NSW Police has implemented a scheme called the Early Access Treatment Initiative where police are able to use Medicare sessions and have the gap fee covered by their employer.

Clients are also able to pay for their sessions privately. Some health funds will provide a rebate for self-funded sessions, so please check with your fund to see if you are eligible. Payment is processed online via a secure platform following the session. 

At times it is difficult for police or first responders to know whether to seek support privately or through a WorkCover claim. We can discuss your options at your first session if you are unsure what is best for you.
